We are pleased to invite you to the international conference Defence and Strategy, held under the theme “Building Resilience in a Multipolar World”, which will take place on 29–30 May 2025 at the Brno Exhibition Centre as part of the IDET International Defence and Security Technologies Fair.

The conference is organized by the Centre for Security and Military Strategic Studies of the University of Defence in Brno and will bring together experts from academia, the military, and the policy sphere to discuss key challenges in contemporary defence and security.

The programme will address topics such as strategic resilience, hybrid threats, technological innovation, energy security, and host nation support. It will feature academic panels, moderated debates, and presentations of current research.

Confirmed participants include representatives from the University of Wroclaw, Óbuda University, DRESMARA, Nicolaus Copernicus University, Jagiellonian University, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, the US Marine Corps, and NATO DEEP, as well as Czech experts from the CEVRO Institute, Metropolitan University Prague, the University of West Bohemia, and various branches of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic.
