On June 27, 2025, eleven participants completed the Strategic Defence Management Course. These participants are active in various branches of public administration and local government. The course focused on current challenges and problem-solving in the area of defence management at the strategic level, emphasizing the implementation of a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach.
During the May intensive session, participants experienced a board war game of the MATRIX type, which serves as a tool to support decision-making at the strategic level. The course concluded with a colloquium during which participants defended their team projects on the topic „Integrated Whole-of-Society Approach to Defence 2040.“
Feedback from the graduates confirms the high relevance and benefits of the course for their future professional activities. Participants gained new perspectives on the strategic thinking of actors in the European and global security architecture, improved their understanding of the structure and roles of various components of the national defence system, and established valuable professional contacts that will strengthen interdepartmental cooperation.
