Professional Course in Acquisition Management
Overview: This five-day course focuses on defence acquisition with an emphasis on planning for and negotiating complex issues related to international defence contracts. Participants will gain an understanding of key considerations in defence acquisition management, with a focus on strategies, techniques, and characteristics of effective negotiators. Negotiation exercises will provide participants with the opportunity to actively engage with course topics and to apply the concepts and methods discussed throughout the week to real-world scenarios. Background readings will be provided to amplify topics discussed and serve as a resource for participants.
