Dear Colleagues,

We would like to inform you in advance about the upcoming expert workshop “Technologies for Defence: SPACE”, which will focus on the importance of space technologies and services for defence, military operations, and defence planning.

Modern armed forces are becoming increasingly dependent on space-based services that support communications, navigation, intelligence gathering, situational awareness, and decision-making processes. At the same time, growing attention is being paid to protecting these capabilities and preparing for operational environments in which space services may not be fully available or reliable.

The workshop will provide a platform for expert discussions on the strategic significance of the space domain, the employment of space services in military operations, and the requirements for resilience and future capability development in the field of defence.
